Remember when I said there was an exciting giveaway coming?? Well I wasn’t kidding! Back in August I was asked if I wanted to not only try out the uber cool Silhouette cutting machine, but also if I wanted to give one away to one of my readers. Hmmm, let me think… umm, YEAH! It was hard not saying anything to you guys as I was really excited to be able to participate in this giveaway, and even more excited to try this fun tool out for myself. So I opened my Silhouette box of awesomeness, pulled out all the goodies, then realized the software was made for a PC. :-/ Well, I’m a Mac user, not a PC user so I was a bit bummed out thinking this might not work out after all.

I think I would mostly use all the vinyl lettering, I am sure I could decorate our house so cute! I also like all the card and scrapbooking possibilities!!!

I was just on the silhouette site and I saw that you can make MAGNETS ?!? Who would have thought? Well, I'd LOVE to win, and I think magnets would be a good way to start learning how to use it.

I would love love love to use a Silhouette to create stencils and etch some new barware… my husband and I have been married almost 11 years. Our pretty, wedding barware has all broken and we have the ugliest mish mash of orphan barware and “free with a tank of gas” glasses. ICK! Some neato monogrammed barware would make me feel oh so grown up again!

I would create custom background paper for my scrapbook pages and cards. I also love the rhinestone template kit!
My 11 year old daughter has designed a lovely picture of a sun and moon combined together and I would love replicate it on her bedroom walls and on a jacket of my own. The vinyl cutters would do that very nicely.
