Crafting with the Stars, Round 2

So yay! I made it through Round 1 of Crafting with the Stars because of all of your votes, thank you! Now it’s on to Round 2: Paint. Funny thing is, paint is totally my thing, and I had a really hard time deciding what to make! For years I tole painted and painted on jars, I even created and sold patterns for a while. Then I got into kid’s crafts and working for Kaboose and just never seemed to find time for painting for myself. This round allowed me to have some fun and get creative.

I’m just about finished with this week’s project, just need to add one more little thing tomorrow and get some final pics. Amy from Mod Podge Rocks, my fabulous star partner, sent me some amazing acrylic paint colors last week that worked perfectly for this project. Thanks Amy!

There are 9 of us left, 3 more will be eliminated in this next round of voting. The projects will be anonymously posted on Sew Dang Cute and polls will open Sunday, October 31st @ 12:01 am MST. Each person will be allowed 3 votes, wish me luck!

I have to say, behind the scenes we (the stars and contestants) have been chatting via email and sharing blogging ideas, etc. It has really been fabulous getting to know all these great ladies over the last couple of weeks!
