Fall Scarecrow Crafts

On Tuesday it was 91 degrees. On Wednesday is was 62 degrees. It stayed that way the rest of the week and finally made it to the 70s again today. Wow, talk about Fall coming in AS SOON as school started! Well all that cool weather has already started to turn the trees, I swept quite a few leaves off my upper deck this morning.

So in tune with autumn, I thought it would be appropriate to pull out some fun fall crafts, specifically scarecrows! They are, after all, synonymous with autumn! Of course you can see on the left side of the blog that the Paint Stick Scarecrow is already featured, but here’s a few more for you to enjoy.

Welcome to Our Patch (pictured at right) – Scarecrows are synonymous with Autumn. This little guy is so adorable you just can’t resist him! Paint several to give away as gifts, or make one just for yourself to keep in the kitchen.

Scarecrow Patch in a Pot – These festive scarecrows and their cute little crow buddies are the perfect centerpiece for your fall table. Make several and give as gifts during the fall holiday season!

Clay Pot Scarecrow – Clay pots are probably one of the most versatile mediums for crafts. This adorable little scarecrow proves that statement without a doubt! This is an absolutely charming Fall craft that looks great in your kitchen, dining room, or even on the porch!

Dishtowel Scarecrow – Isn’t he the sweetest! This darling harvest scarecrow is simple to assemble and easy on the pocketbook. What a great way to recycle those dish towels! Made by my dear friend, Heidi Ott, from Crafters Community.

Sculpey Festive Scarecrow – This adorable little scarecrow can greet your visitors for years to come! Just carefully pack him up each year, then bring him out again as the leaves begin to turn and Fall is in the air.

Cardboard Tube Scarecrow – This fun recycled craft made from a paper towel roll and scrap fabrics and felts is an adorable project for Fall. Gather the kids around, pull out the craft supplies and get cracking on your own scarecrows!

    Hi Amanda!
Thank you for your comment. I love your crafts, I’m crazy about Autumn and Halloween things, the fantastic thing about the summer ending – although it sounds like you had a much better summer than we did here!
The view is in Bath in the UK where I live, it’s the view from my window, I’m so lucky. I take pictures of it quite alot! :-)
