Instructions
Download cut files in a Christmas shape and upload them to your craft cutter.
Resize the images to fit the front of your mason jars.
Cut the shapes from any color vinyl. We are going to use the shapes as a mask so this is a great use for scraps.
Weed away any excess vinyl.
Then stick the vinyl shapes to the front of clean pint-size mason jars.
Press the vinyl down well.
Paint one coat of paint over the entire jar.
Allow to dry completely.
Then paint a second coat over the jar. This may not be required with all paints but I did need two with the glass paint I used.
Allow to dry.
Use a craft knife to cut around the vinyl then peel back.
You can use the craft knife to scrape away any excess paint that might have seeped under the vinyl.
Then add a bit of ribbon around the top with a hot glue gun.
Sprinkle some fake snow in each jar.
Drop in a battery-operated tea light.
