Instructions
Paint the top third of the cardboard roll with flesh colored paint.
For Gnomeo - paint the bottom two-thirds with light blue. For Juliet - paint the bottom two-thirds with white.
While those are drying, use the pattern to cut out a blue and a red hat. Roll the half circle into a cone shape, securing with a glue stick.
From the patterns cut a red skirt, white apron, black Juliet vest, blue Gnomeo vest, black belt and 2 each of the feet in black.
To assemble Juliet:
Use a red marker to draw a line around the border of the apron as shown in the photos and glue the apron to the red skirt.
Glue the red skirt along the bottom of the tube.
Draw the lace on her dirndl's vest using a white colored pencil.
Glue the vest above the red skirt and apron.
To assemble Gnomeo:
Glue the black belt to the blue vest.
Glue the vest around the cardboard roll.
Cut a 3-inch piece of yellow pipe cleaner and bend it into a rectangle for the belt buckle. Glue in place on the belt.
To finish them:
Use a light brown marker to add hair to Gnomeo.
Use brown marker to add hair to Juliet.
Use gray marker to add Gnomeo's beard.
Glue feet inside the front of each tube allowing some to hang out of the tube. Bend so you can stand the tube up.
Add facial features with markers and paint. Alternatively you can use googly eyes!
