Scrap Wood Frames
These scrap wood frames make the perfect gift giving DIY project! A homemade gift can save you money, and they're super easy to make!
Supplies
- Scrap wood pieces
- Wood stain I used grey
- Rag
- Twine
- Embellishments
- Pictures

- Paintbrush
Instructions
- You can cut your boards to size or use them at whatever length they are at. Sand if needed.
- Stain the boards any color that you wish. I used a light grey stain for a rustic look. Paint on the stain with a paintbrush, allow to sit a few minutes, then wipe away excess with a rag.
- Wrap around one end with some twine and tie in the back.
- Use hot glue to secure on a variety of embellishments. Think flowers or even burlap accents!
