I am a big believer in function before form, so even when I am designing a place setting for Thanksgiving I want the decorative elements to be useful too. These printable Thanksgiving utensil holders add charming decorative detail while serving a purpose!

Printable Thanksgiving Utensil Holders

I designed a PDF that makes creating your own utensil holders quick and easy. You already have enough tasks to complete to make your Thanksgiving dinner a success, decorating your table should be easy and fun! Be sure to print my Thanksgiving placemats for the kids to color too!

You will need:

  • Give Thanks Utensil Holder Printable
  • Printer
  • Heavy printer paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue

How to make Printable Thanksgiving Utensil Holders

Begin by downloading the Give Thanks utensil holder PDF to your computer. Send either the color version or the black and white version to your printer.

I recommend using heavier stock printer paper so the utensil holders are sturdy. Each printable makes two utensil holders. Cut the printed paper down the middle vertically.  Fold the bottom part of the utensil holder up, creasing on the light grey line.

Add a small bead of glue along the two sides inside the utensil holder to create a pocket. Allow the glue to dry.

Create charming utensil holders for your thanksgiving table this year!

Slip the silverware into the pocket of the utensil holder and add it to your Thanksgiving place setting.  If you would like to have these utensil holders double as place cards, simply write your guests’ names to the bottom corner of each holder.

For another Thanksgiving table idea, you can easily make your own Thanksgiving place cards! They’d pair nicely with your printable thanksgiving utensil holders.
