Paper mache has been around for eons. I remember making paper mache piggy banks when I was little and it’s been used over the years to entertain thousands of kids I’m sure! Paper mache is traditionally made from dipping newspapers into a mixture of flour and water then letting it dry. A truly messy, but fun, business. Using Mod Podge or other decoupage medium is an alternative that works great and doesn’t dry up while you are working with it. See how I made these football themed bowls that are great for holding toys, keys, blocks or whatever you like.
The tutorial for this Paper Mache Super Bowl Craft is on Kix Cereal.
