I love seeing the ingredients written in a cook’s own handwriting, especially if the handwriting is of a loved one who is no longer with us. How they bend and smudge over time and are passed down from generation to generation, they truly are a keepsake.

Let’s make an effort to write out more holiday recipes this year. I have designed these printable recipe cards that you can use this Christmas. These are sized to print at 6 inches wide by 4 inches tall. You can use cardstock cut to size or index cards in these measurements.

What you will need

• Christmas Recipe Cards PDF
• Color printer
• 4×6 cardstock

How to Print The Recipe Cards

1. Begin by downloading the Christmas Recipe Cards PDF onto your computer.
2. Next, load your printer with 4×6 cardstock.  You may need to load smaller sized paper into a different slot on your printer or to adjust the width of the intake tray to accommodate the 4×6 cardstock.
3. Send the PDF to print on your color printer on the highest quality settings. Be sure to adjust your print settings to reflect the dimensions of the paper.
4. Repeat for as many recipe cards as you would like.

These cards are great to have on hand at holiday parties so you can quickly get the how-to for any delicious recipes you taste.  You can also add them as tags on gifts of homemade baked goods, like this Saltine Toffee, Grandma’s Sugar Cookies, or Homemade Peanut Brittle so your giftee can replicate your tasty recipe for themselves.
