Spooky Eyeball Bracelets

Because the size of each child’s wrist is different, the cardboard tubes by themselves may be too loose around their wrist. You can pop a hole in each end and thread a rubber band through the holes then knot them together. This will keep the cardboard tube bracelets on but also be stretchy enough to easily remove them. This cute wearable Halloween craft is really easy to make. It’s a fun group craft too, or would make a simple make and take for a Halloween party. You’ll notice that I mention below that you can use stickers instead of paint, making this an easy homemade craft kit you can send home in a goody bag. Simply drop a cardboard tube, black construction paper and eyeball stickers into a sandwich bag!

To make these spooky eyeball bracelets:

  1. Cut the cardboard tube in half and use glue stick to cover the tubes with black construction paper.
  2. Tuck the excess paper inside the tubes.
  3. Find the seam and cut the cardboard tube to open it.
  4. Use the handle end of a paintbrush dipped in neon paint to dot on eyeballs. You can use white to make some eyes too.
  5. When the eyes are dry, use a toothpick dipped in black paint to add the pupils to the small eyeballs, and use the handle end of a paintbrush to add pupils to the larger eyeballs.
  6. Use a black marker to add eyebrows if you like.
