Batman. From a cardboard tube. That’s right. Don’t think I’m weird, but I seem to have some special ability to see creative things when looking at toilet paper and paper towel rolls. I can’t even count how many cardboard tube crafts I have made over the years, so turning one into Batman was just another day in the craft room. Probably good timing too because there’s a new Batman vs. Superman movie in the works to be released in 2016.

Cardboard Tube Batman

So since my brain seems to see everything in cylindrical form, I’d be happy to show you how to make one of these. The kids will love them (and shh, the grown guys might too), and now you can see how to make a Superman craft from a cardboard tube as well!

Print the patterns. Cut the mask/head section from black paper. Cut a piece of white paper to fit under the mask, leaving a little excess around it so you will be able glue it to the back of the mask.

Color the white paper with the peach crayon and glue it to the back of the mask.

Cut small eyes from yellow paper and glue to the front of the mask. Glue the mask to the cardboard tube. Cut the pants from back paper and glue around the cardboard tube. Cut a strip of yellow paper for the belt and glue around the top of the pants.

Cut out bat and cape from black paper. Glue the bat to his chest and the cape to his back.

I love tp crafts! Especially since we have an abundance of tp rolls :-) These go well with your comic book crafts too. Pinned.

Hi Diane. I’m unsure of what I can do to help. Do you have access to a printer and does it work from your ipad? Here’s the direct link to the pattern. If that doesn’t work, you may need to access the post through a computer or ask a friend with a printer to print it off for you. :) https://craftsbyamanda.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/batman-pattern.pdf
