Fall Leaf Finger Puppets - CraftsbyAmanda.com

Fall seems to have come very quickly to our little town in southeast Wisconsin. One day it was summer and then all of a sudden it was fall! The leaves are changing, kids are back in school and the local sweet corn wagon has been replaced by the annual pumpkin wagon. So get the kids together and head outside to collect some of those falling leave to make these fun finger puppets!

While you’re at it, collect some extra leaves and learn how to preserve them over at Red Ted Art!

Fall Leaf Finger Puppets - CraftsbyAmanda.comThis project uses recycled cardboard tubes, leaves and pipe cleaners. Easy peasy. Full printable instructions are below, but as you can see you’ll poke the arms through the sides of the tube, add a leaf for a head, and glue on eyes and buttons. Fun!

    Hi Amanda,

I love these cheeky little guys! I run an organisation specialising in family learning, working in the most disadvantaged communities in Hertfordshire, UK. I’m always telling parents that they don’t have to spend a lot of money on having fun and spending time with their children, and this lovely project illustrates that perfectly.

I’m just writing to ask permission to use this picture on our website (www.clp.org.uk) with accompanying instructions to make this point. I would, of course, acknowledge you.

    Thanks for your kind consideration,

    Elizabeth :-)
