Whether you are turning summer fruit into delicious jam, canning veggies for cooler weather, or need a pretty way to organize craft supplies, you’ll love these printable labels for jars! These colorful printable mason jar labels will help you identify the contents of your mason jars and canning jars at a glance.
These labels are also a pretty touch when you are giving a jar of homemade goodies as a gift like these peppermint bath salts.
Printable Mason Jar Labels
I chose to create these mason jar labels in pretty summer colors. Each printable will print out labels in strawberry, watermelon, raspberry, blueberry, mint, and peach. I created two versions of the PDF so you can print labels that will fit regular 2″ mason jar lids and the larger 3″ lids that fit on wide mouth mason jars.

Supplies for Printable Mason Jar Labels:
- color printer
- sticker paper
- 2″ circle punch (for regular mouth jars)
- 3″ circle punch (for wide mouth jars)
- Regular Mouth Jar Labels
- Wide Mouth Jar Labels
Begin by downloading the appropriate label PDF for your style of mason jars. The printable for regular mouth jars fits 12 labels on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet, while the wide mouth PDF only fits 6 labels. Print the PDF onto sticker paper using a color printer.
Then, use a circle punch, compass cutter, or scissors to cut out the labels. Peel the backing off of the sticker paper, and affix the label to the metal insert from the jar lid. Be sure to press down firmly so the sticker stays in place.
Finally, you can reassemble the jar lid and add it to your jar of canned goods. Use a permanent marker (like a Sharpie) to label the jar so you know what is inside.
More ideas for these canning jar labels would be to use them for your homemade cherry pie filling, making and storing apple butter, or adding a sweet touch to the top of these apple pie parfaits for parties like bridal or baby showers!
