You will need:
- Home printer
- printer paper
- clipboard or binder (optional)
- Organization Checklist
- Decluttering Checklist
While it’s not necessary, I highly recommend a binder or clipboard for these printable checklists. This will not only keep you from losing the checklists mid-purge but it’s also another way to keep your papers tidy and organized. Let’s start this organization process off on the right foot!
The Clean & Organized Home printable takes you through the process of organizing each room in your home. If you have a burst of energy, you can tackle all these rooms in one weekend, but I recommend spacing the tasks out. I find that working on one room per day makes the task seem more manageable. If you clean while you organize, you will have a neat and clean home in a week or less!
If you are like me, you get sentimentally attached to things, and getting rid of them can be hard. This printable gives you suggestions of purge-worthy items from multiple areas of your home. I suggest the three-pile technique. As you tackle each area on the checklist, make three piles: items you want to keep, items you can sell or donate, and items that need to be thrown out. Only the items in the first pile should remain in your home. Be sure to donate or sell the items in the second pile AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. As long as they are in your house (or the trunk of your car), they are still cluttering up your life.
I hope these two checklists help you reach your goal of a clean and organized home this year! Do you have any decluttering tips that are worth sharing? I’d love to hear them!

I am in desperate need of de-cluttering tips and organizing tips as we just took over my mom’s modular home and there’s no other room now let us face and two big storage units later and stuff start under the home and said I still have nowhere to walk in my house the only thing I wish I think is if you had a free book that gave all your tips that you use to help you and your household and the tips that you give out for decluttering organizing I am so desperate I just wish I could find a book that could help me so I could read it and look at it while I’m doing the organization cleaning and decluttering but I also think that it would be cool if they were somebody came out with a all-in-one decluttering organizing cleaning book and had little sections for taking notes or writing down what you were going to do in this room were in that room and what’s 1st and what you plan to do next or what you want to do last on your list this is how desperate I am and no matter how many times I try to look up or Google or talk to people or look for books I have not found not one thing that has really stuck with me and literally it’s been almost 3 years I’m just tired of having to live like this but God bless you for helping us and thank you so much I just wish I had something like that I don’t even know if they make it look like that

Always on the lookout for decluttering and organizational helps. Thank you so much. I have enjoyed making your craft projects with my family.
Do you have any suggestions for storing the overly long rolls of wrapping paper? Each time I think I have a solution, it seems they increase the length of the roll, foiling my latest solution.

Hi Nell! Have you tried those long under-the-bed type plastic storage containers? They actually make several types now! There are tubes, containers, over the door solutions, and organizing containers with pockets! https://amzn.to/36mFQY0
