How to make a mason jar soap dispenser:

  1. Choose a mason jar with at least one plain side that has no embossing.
  2. Clean mason jar well before painting. One way to do this is to use rubbing alcohol all over the surface then allow to dry.
  3. Paint the mason jar with a coat of white paint and allow to dry completely.
  4. Then paint with a second coat of the paint again allowing to dry.
  5. While your paint is drying, cut the wash your hands cut file with your Cricut or another cutting machine. Upload the file to the software for your machine then cut from vinyl in the color of your choice.
  6. Weed away all excess vinyl from around the outside of the image as well as the centers of any letters.
  7. Place transfer tape over the top of the design and burnish well.
  8. Peel the backing away from the vinyl.
  9. Carefully put the vinyl in place on the mason jar front and press down well.
  10. Then peel back the transfer tape to reveal your completed design.
  11. Add the soap pump with the mason jar lid to the top and your mason jar soap dispenser is ready for your bathroom.
