How to a Make Snowman Slime
These step by step photos and instructions are here to help you visualize how to make this project. Please scroll down to simply print out the instructions!
- Add your white glue and baking soda to a mixing bowl.
- Mix together until combined.
- Add the iridescent glitter and the contact solution.
- Combine everything together by mixing with a rubber spatula or plastic spoon. You’ll want to stir until everything is dissolved and the mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. If slime is still too sticky, squirt in a little more contact solution until it becomes easier to pull.
- Remove the slime from the bowl and knead with your hands.
- We used 2 inch by 2 inch jars to store the slime in. Wash and dry your jars and use a black sharpie to draw on the snowman’s eyes and mouth. Then, use an orange sharpie to create the snowman’s nose.
Expert Crafting Tips
- If crafting with a group, purchase value packs of glue and contact solution, and have things measured so you avoid excess use of supplies.
- It’s best to use bowls and mixing supplies that you will throw away or save just for slime projects.

Just found your website – AMAZING! So many fabulous ideas. My nieces, nephews, and inner child are all going to be excited :) In the past I have had bad luck with glitter (end up living in a glitter house for weeks). Does the glitter get everywhere when the slime is played with? I’m pretty sure the parents of the kids I’d be making this for view glitter as an archenemy :)
Also, how long does the slime last; remain pliable? Thanks!!
