Jedi Water Bottle Covers
Star Wars birthday parties are all the rage, and with the new movie The Last Jedi releasing recently you can expect to see lots of fun DIY Star Wars themed party supplies, like my super easy Jedi Party Favor Bags!
If you frequent my blog, you know that Star Wars crafts are nothing new to me. In fact, I have an entire craft book dedicated to Star Wars themed crafts called Star Wars Mania– in which you can find this Jedi Water Bottle Covers craft.
These Jedi water bottle covers are super simple to make. So let’s grab some felt, scissors, hot glue and water bottles and let’s get started!
What you need to make Jedi water bottle covers:
- Water bottle
- Felt: brown, tan, dark brown
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Ruler
How to Make Jedi Water Bottle Covers:
Measure and cut tan felt 4-inches high and wide enough to wrap around your bottle with 1-inch of overlap.
Fold the tan felt rectangle in half and cut off the top corner along the fold. This will create a triangle in the center of the felt for the V-neck shirt.
Measure and cut a 5-inch high piece of brown felt roughly the same length as your tan felt.
Fold the brown felt and line up the folded edge with the side of the tan felt. The folded brown felt should be wide enough to reach the beginning edge of the v-neck. Trim excess brown felt.
Measure and cut a ½-inch by 5-inch strip of dark brown felt and glue to the tan felt below the v-neck.
Glue the tan felt around the water bottle.
Position the bottle, v-neck facing up, in the center of the brown felt. Wrap around both sides and glue in place.
And there you have it, Jedi Water Bottle Covers. If you play with the sizing of the felt, these would look awesome on soda cans or juice boxes as well!
