Star Wars the Last Jedi was released in December and is already the top grossing movie of 2017! Young Star Wars fans would love a party to celebrate their favorite galactic heroes, so I’m going to show you how to create these super easy Jedi party favor bags.

Jedi Party Favor Bags: made from colorful construction paper and paper bags

Jedi Party Favor Bags

Star Wars birthday parties are very popular, but sometimes they can get pricey. That’s why I’m going to show you how to make these Jedi party favor bags with plain brown lunch bags and construction paper! Fill them up with goodies or add in these Jedi Water Bottle Covers for more Jedi flair.

Jedi Party Favor Bags: perfect for a Star Wars birthday party

This would make a fun make and take activity for the party as well. Have kids sit down and make their favor bag so you can fill it for them before they head home!

Supplies needed:

  • Brown lunch bag
  • Construction paper: black, brown and colors of your choice for lightsabers)
  • Silver crayon
  • Glue stick
  • Cutting board or scissors

Jedi Party Favor Bags - step 1

Lay paper bag out flat and crease the bottom flap downward. Measure and cut a black construction paper strip 4 ½-inches x ½-inch. Glue the black strip to front of the bag, about an inch or so above bottom crease.

Jedi Party Favor Bags - step 2

Measure and cut a brown construction paper strip 1 ½-inches x 8 ½-inches. Starting from the bottom left side of the bag, glue a brown strip to the bag. Repeat on the right side.

Jedi Party Favor Bags - step 3

Measure and cut a colored piece of construction paper strip 6-inches x ½-inch. Measure and cut black construction paper into a ½-inch x 1-inch rectangle.

Jedi Party Favor Bags - step 4

Glue the black rectangle to the end of the colored strip and draw lines on the black using a silver crayon.

Jedi Party Favor Bags - step 5

Glue the lightsaber to the front of the bag on a diagonal.

How fun! Party favor bags that look like Jedis. The kids will love them!
