Who doesn’t love a good spa treatment? Why not create that spa feeling at home with homemade orange bath salts? These pretty, fragrant salts make a great gift for mom or a teacher and will be most appreciated. We’ve even included a free summer time printable tag to go with them if you like!
Orange Bath Salts Recipe
These great smelling orange bath salts are perfect for a teacher but you might want to mix up an extra batch. You will love soaking in a tub after you add these orange bath salts as well. Or maybe make a batch for your mom or grandmother for Mother’s Day! Orange you glad its summer?

Supplies to make these orange bath salts:
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 4 drops orange essential oil
- Mini mason jars or any type of jar you like
- Scissors
- Measuring cup
- Spoon
- Colorants (optional, be sure to look for colorants that are safe for bath and body products.)
For the printable tags
How to mix up this recipe
- Add 1 cup of Epsom salt to a bowl.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
- Add four drops of orange essential oil and stir well.
- Add this mixture to mini mason jars or other glass container. Note that each recipe will make enough for three small jelly mason jars.
- Decorate with twine or string.
If using the printable tags
- Print the free printable jar toppers found here onto white card stock.
- Cut around each label with a pair of scissors.
- Add the label in between the band and lid of the mini jelly mason jars or punch a hole in the tag and tie on with string around rim of container.
