While I don’t get to the thrift store as often as I would like, I do like to slowly browse the shelves looking for small pieces of hidden treasure. There are so many items that are bursting with potential, and more often than not I will buy them and they’ll actually sit in my “project cabinet” for a long time before ever making it to the craft table. This particular item, a fish shaped wooden snack tray, caught my eye several years ago at Salvation Army.

My original idea was to make a sign out of it for my husband or my son as both of them love to fish. Be sure to take a look in her store, I’m willing to bet you’ll want to buy something before it’s over with!
