This fun felt board consists of one pumpkin and tons of different face combinations. Your imagination is the only thing that could limit the number of faces that you make! Make funny faces, scary faces and surprised and silly faces! I’ll show you how to make this fun felt board.
As the days get colder, this is a great indoor activity that kids can play with again and again. And look mom, no messy pumpkin guts!
You’ll need a piece of cardboard. The back of a writing pad or a cereal box are great options! Cover the cardboard with felt glue and spread it into an even layer with your fingers covering all areas. Wash your hands and then place the green felt onto the glue and press it in place.
Cut a pumpkin shape from orange felt and a stem from the dark green felt. Glue to the green felt.
Cut face shapes from other felt colors. Cut out different shaped mouths, noses, eyes and even eyebrows!
Let your child place the face pieces onto the board to create all different types of faces.
Store facial pieces in zipper sandwich bag until neck playtime!
